Telling stories because it matters

About Me
Rich is an award-winning writer whose short story "How to Grow a Fig Tree" won Best in Show at the Accolade Global Film Competition. Born in Brooklyn and raised immersed in NYC's vibrant culture, Rich later moved to Long Island where he spent decades building memories from deep relationships with family and friends. These deep roots inspire his layered approach to weaving authentic relationships and memories into compelling narratives. He's a member of Sigma Tau Delta and earned his B.A. in English & Literature and M.F.A. in Creative Writing. Rich now lives on Florida's Gulf Coast with his wife, and they have two adult children. He frequently returns to New York to reconnect with his roots. When not writing, he pursues his passions for art history and painting, enjoys paddle boarding on the gulf, and remains a passionate lifelong New York sports fan.
